Patrick Geddes ‘ideas middens’ were visual tools to aid thinking through complex issues. In this vein, the wall hanging is designed as a tool for encouraging participation in surveying, analysing and planning to increaise biodiversity in the West Coast of Scotland.

Hand made unisex necktie with bumblebees (found on roadsides in the West of Scotland summer 2013. Likely cause of death, hit by road vehicles).

A tie to be worn by the planning professional in the work place (memento mori).
